Four-bolt door lock with key. A lock of fine locksmithing workmanship, probably 17th century, Baroque style. Rectangular plate with a trefoil rear section; cover engraved with a twig motif. Side bulges with profiled male busts with mustaches and a central en face mask with a hole for the register dome. Plate bent at a right angle for mounting on the door edge; mechanism partially covered by an openwork cover engraved with a twig motif featuring a bird and a pomegranate. Screw mounting. The key is missing and the brass box cover that formerly covered the central part of the lock is absent. Metalwork; height 33 cm, width 22 cm, depth 12.8 cm., An ornate metal mechanism stands against a pale gray background, showing a weathered metallic surface with tones of gray, silver, and hints of brownish patina; the top has a rounded, cloudlike silhouette with a faceted geometric knob projecting from its center and small rounded fasteners at several points; below, a visible interior of vertical rods and levers with circular joints and small spherical rivets forms a repeating pattern, and a decorative rectangular base features an openwork floral and vine motif; the piece sits on a reflective surface that mirrors its lower portion.
