Tea spoon by Buszkowskij, Fedor Klimov fl. 1795–1834, goldsmith; decorative gilded spoon with an ovoid scoop with a pointed tip, reverse decorated with a niello ornament of fish scales and rocailles; flat handle widening at the end, slightly bent and rounded, with niello decoration on both sides with floral motifs. Inscribed/date: 1815. Place of origin: Veliky Ustyug, Russia. Subject/ornament: flowers, fish scale pattern, coats of arms. Function/materials: tea cutlery, tea spoon; length 14 cm, width 2.6 cm, weight 15 g., A single ornate spoon lies horizontally on a plain gray background, showing a metallic surface with gold and darker silver tones; the bowl of the spoon has a scalloped, scale-like textured pattern in dark silver with a gold rim and a smooth gold tip, while the handle tapers to a rounded end and features raised floral and leaf decorations in dark silver against a gold base, with the decorated areas appearing slightly darker and aged.
