Classicist decoration: laurel festoons suspended from rosette medallions; lower edge with knurled belt of stylized lesbian cymatium; slightly arched cover edged with knurled wavy running dog ornament; central circular medallion with relief of Athena wearing a helmet and holding a spear; right side with a circular reserve and an olive branch. Materials: toilet accessory metalwork., A round decorative box with a domed lid sits against a plain light gray background; the box is a metallic pale gold color with areas of slightly darker golden sheen and subtle tarnish, and it features ornate raised patterns including a band of repeating leaf motifs near the base, a garland-like swag with floral medallions around the body, and an intricately bordered rim beneath the lid.
