Lower edge decorated with a band of bay leaves; above, laurel festoons with suspended medallions containing rosettes; upper edge with an anthemion frieze. Hinged recessed cover bordered with a band of bay leaves matching the body. Central medallion on the cover with a relief of four putti at a sacrificial altar. Ornament: festoons, palmettes, anthemions, bay leaves; relief decorations. Function: toilet accessory.
