Conical mug by Edward Barnard & Sons Ltd, English goldsmiths fl. ca. 1680–, silver conical mug on a circular foot with slightly flared, profiled rim and gilded interior. Belly decorated with relief vine wreaths; one wreath contains an English inscription: Carola Kremser / from / SMS/ Nov: 1893. Dated 1861/1862, London, England. Vessel; height 12 cm, diameter 9 cm, weight 175 g., A single ornate metal cup displayed upright on a reflective surface, with an outward flaring rim and a stepped round base. The cup has a raised decorative wreath motif wrapping around its body made of stylized leaves and clusters of rounded berries, with engraved textures and subtle shadowing that emphasize the relief. The metal surface appears highly polished with visible slight scratches and small areas of darker patina in recessed details. The overall colors visible are shades of silver and gray with darker gray accents in the engraved and recessed areas, and a neutral light gray background.
