Four-sided platter by Thomas Bradbury & Sons Sheffield; goldsmiths; fl. ca. 1769–1943. Four-sided platter with slightly concave, raised sides; upturned, irregularly cut rim, decorated with a band of godron ornament. Engraved on the side depicting a rooster standing on a crown. Dated 1903/1904, London, England. Dish. Height 3.9 cm; width 25 cm; depth 20.8 cm; weight 684 g., A rectangular shallow tray with rounded corners and a raised rim featuring a twisted rope-like border, the tray surface and sides are smooth and reflective with visible scuffs and small blemishes, and the overall colors visible are metallic silver with highlights and darker gray reflections against a white background.
