Openwork, neoclassicism; geometric ornaments; garlands; pearling. Neoclassical openwork oval basket supported on four volute legs. Openwork formed by bands of ovals, circles and rectangles; top and bottom edges bordered with pearling. Raised sides topped on the shorter axis by a semi-plastic vase with laurel leaf garlands. Engraved on the bottom with an italic inscription: 6. September / 1893 1918 / von CP Dietz, 1908/1909. England, London. Vessel; height 8.5 cm, width 35.5 cm, depth 25 cm, weight 925 g., A decorative oval metal tray with an open lattice rim and a solid central well, shown from above; the tray has a beaded edge and two small raised rectangular handles on opposite sides, and the surface shows some subtle scratches and spots. The visible colors are silver, gray, and off-white.
