Openwork goblet by Mappin & Webb Ltd goldsmith, plater, sellers; fl. 1859-. Openwork goblet with circular stepped foot and short shaft; hemispherical bowl decorated with radial openwork and a wide strip of stylised meander under the upper edge, enclosed in a smooth ribbon, and decorated with four relief ram's heads. At the bottom, a four-field coat of arms in an oval shield beneath an earl's count's crown. Inscription/marks: 1908/1909. England, Birmingham. Vessel; height 9 cm; bowl rim diameter 13.5 cm; weight 126 g., A circular metallic object with a central concave area and a darker circular spot in the middle, surrounded by a patterned perforated rim featuring repeated geometric cutouts and radial slits; the metal surface shows reflective highlights and some tarnished or discolored spots, and small decorative protrusions appear at several points on the outer edge. The visible colors are silver, gray, and darker brown in the central spot, set against a light gray background.
