Pear-shaped milk jug supported on four volute legs, decorated with an acanthus leaf at the base; belly ornamented with rococo motifs including channel-shaped jars, rocailles, flowers and acanthus leaves. Volute handle with acanthus projections and a wide raised spout with serrated edge. Material: metal. Place: Sheffield, England. Function: vessel. Dimensions: height 14.4 cm, width 9.5 cm, depth 8.5 cm; weight 266 g., A silver-colored ornate pitcher with a scalloped rim and a single curved handle, decorated with raised floral and scrollwork patterns on its bulbous body and standing on a few decorative feet, shown against a light gray background.
