Tray on legs, Mappin & Webb Ltd goldsmith, silversmith, dealers; fl. 1859-, maker, scrap - purchase, coats of arms, rank crown heraldry, ribbed; circular tray supported on three hoof-shaped legs, with a slightly raised, multi-partite, profiled and ribbed collar with serrated edges. Two coats of arms are engraved in the mirror under a noble crown. On the bottom in the middle, an inscription in italics is engraved: 29.9.1906 /von HvG. Dated 1906/1907. Table accessory; height 2.4 cm, diameter 21.2 cm, weight 350 g., A silver tray with a scalloped, ornate rim sits against a white background, showing a shallow, slightly convex surface with a subtle central engraved motif and faint surface scratches; the rim has curved, raised borders and recessed sections creating a decorative pattern, and a small portion of a matching silver foot is visible at the bottom edge. Colors visible include silver tones and white.
