Cup on a circular, arched, profiled base and a short shaft; semi-ovoid body, flattened at the bottom; slightly flared upper edge bordered with a half-cylinder, two volute handles on the sides. Engraved inscription: BURSTON POINT TO POINT MEETING / 22nd APRIL 1911 / OPEN STEEP LECHASE / WON BY / MR H.DETERDING'S / \NIGGER\, 1910/1911. England, London; vessel; height 16.5 cm, width 23.5 cm, depth 14.5 cm; weight 500 g., A polished silver cup with a rounded base and pedestal sits against a light gray background, featuring a flared rim and a slightly reflective interior showing muted golden and silver tones; the cup has a pair of ornate curved handles with scroll-like flourishes attached to opposite sides, and the exterior surface shows subtle scratches and a few small marks, with visible silver highlights and shadows across the smooth body.
