Inscription/marking: Mappin & Webb Ltd maker. Made 1901–1902, London, England. Vessel; height 6 cm, width 15.5 cm, depth 10.5 cm; weight 173 g., A metallic, scalloped-edged container with a wavy rim sits on three curved legs, showing a reflective, slightly scratched silver surface with variations of gray and hints of white highlights; the interior walls display vertical ridges and a smooth base, and the exterior shows subtle dents and worn areas with darker gray shadows around the legs and inner corners.
