Materials/technique: engraving, openwork. Function: toiletry accessory. Dimensions: height 2.1 cm × width 1.5 cm × depth 1 cm; weight 10 g. Place: Birmingham, England, Great Britain., A small rectangular metal box with a hinged lid sits on a light background; the surface of the box is silver-colored with a slightly tarnished patina and shows etched decorative markings including a floral motif on the top and patterned borders around the edges; the metal has visible scratches and small dents, and the hinge area and corners show slight irregularities in shape.
