Spherical, flattened, eight-part, burled and ribbed punch vase with burling; supported on four volute leafy feet. Two handles decorated with acanthus leaves on the sides and stylized shells. Upper edge turned up and decorated with relief ornament of leaves and shells. Engraved coat of arms on the belly in a decorative cartouche. Materials/ornament: acanthus, shells, volutes. Function: punch vessel. Date: 1831/1832. Origin: London, England, Great Britain. Dimensions: height 15.5 cm; width 36.2 cm; depth 27.8 cm; weight 2490 g., A polished silver bowl with ornate curved edges and decorative handles sits on a plain light background; the bowl has a rounded, bulbous body with intricate leaf-like embellishments near the handles and on the scrolling feet, and the interior and exterior surfaces show reflective highlights and soft shadows in silver and gray tones.
