Two-candle candelabrum by Charles Hougham fl. 1769–1793, goldsmith, classicism/George III/Georgian style, 1787–1788, London, England. Two-armed candelabrum on an oval foot bordered with pearling and decorated with a knobbed rosette. Conical, fluted stem topped with a vase-shaped socket that holds a setting with two S-shaped arms terminating in saucers and vase-shaped sockets; central vase topped with a ball. Sleeves decorated halfway with vertical flutes, smooth above. Materials: metal silver; function: lighting. Dimensions: height 38 cm, width 39 cm, depth 12 cm; weight 1060 g., A silver metallic three-armed candleholder with a central covered cup and two matching side cups connected by curved arms, all with rounded bases and fluted lower sections; the surface is reflective with highlights and subtle shadows, showing tones of silver, gray, and off-white, set against a plain light gray background.
