Pear-shaped jug, spirally chased in the lower part, smooth above, decorated with a half-cylinder under the upper flared rim; short beak-shaped spout; wooden handle not original mounted in sleeves; hinged domed lid, spirally knotted, topped with a ball. 1888–1889. Height 13 cm; width 12 cm; depth 6.8 cm; weight 179 g., A single metal pitcher with an open hinged lid and a curved wooden handle is shown against a plain light background; the pitcher has an ornate embossed design with a band of rope-like decoration and scalloped borders, a fluted lower body, a short spout, and a rounded base, and the handle is smooth and polished wood in a warm brown tone while the metal surface is reflective silver with some darker tarnished spots.
