Teapot supported on four legs in the form of dolphins; octagonal; decorated with vertical narrow ringlets and flutes; spout-shaped spout; slightly arched hinged lid; wooden handle not original mounted in sockets. Dolphin iconography; ringing. 1808/1809. England, London. Vessel. Height 12 cm; width 20.5 cm; depth 14 cm; weight 595 g., A silver teapot with a ribbed, rounded body sits on ornate feet and has a curved, elongated spout and a high, domed lid topped with a small knob; the handle is black and curving with a decorative scroll at the top and connects to the body with silver mounts. The visible colors are silver, black, and subtle gray reflections.
