Rococo single-candle candlestick on a raised, domed foot with a hexagonal rim, decorated with flower heads at the corners, passing into a baluster shaft and terminating in a vase-shaped socket with a disc-shaped profit. Decorated with rococo motifs in the George II manner—rocailles, plant tendrils, flowers, cartouches, shells and acanthus leaves; the entire decoration is slightly spirally twisted. Materials: presumed metal; function: lighting. Height 29 cm; diameter 16.9 cm; weight 717 g., A circular metallic object with a scalloped outer edge and a central round hole sits against a light gray background, showing a worn, slightly scratched surface with areas of sheen and dullness; visible colors include silver, gray, and shades of white, with the central hole appearing as a darker gray.
