Silver vessel, oval with smooth mirror and multi-leafed ribbed collar edged with a godron band with four shells on the axes, enclosed within acanthus leaves. Collar engraved with coats of arms on the shorter axis; underside of the collar engraved monogram GvR, dated 1811/1812. Ornaments: coats of arms, monograms, shells, godron ornaments, acanthus leaves. Dimensions: height 3 cm; width 47 cm; depth 37.5 cm; weight 2420 g., A decorative oval metal tray with an ornate raised rim featuring shell and rope-like motifs, a scalloped edge, and embossed decorative flourishes at the sides and ends; the tray surface is smooth but shows visible fine scratches and scuffs; the object appears reflective and metallic, showing shades of silver and gray against a pale neutral background.
