On the side, a relief plaque with the Czartoryski coat of arms on a paludament, under a princely mitre, with labres and the motto Be that as it may. The handle is contemporary. Dated 1803/1804, London, England, Great Britain. Vessel; height 8.5 cm; diameter 15.2 cm; weight approx. 230 g., A domed metal cloche with a round finial handle on top sits against a plain light background; the cloche is smooth and reflective with visible scuffs and scratches and a worn metallic sheen in silver and gray tones, and a decorative raised emblem with intricate sculpted details is attached to one side showing textured relief in similar silver-gray metal, while the finial appears slightly darker with muted gray and brownish discoloration, and the rim shows a thin darker band of metal.
