Platter lampshade, Scott, Digby & Smith, Benjamin fl. 1802–1807 goldsmith; silver hemispherical lampshade with a non-original handle; smooth, with a ribbon edge, profiled; relief plaque with the Czartoryski coat of arms on a paludament, under a princely mitre, with labres and the motto Be that as it may.; handle is contemporary; 1803/1804; London, England, Great Britain; vessel; height 8.5 cm, diameter 15.2 cm, weight approx. 230 g, A dome-shaped metal cloche with a rounded finial handle on top, showing a smooth reflective surface with visible scratches and small blemishes; the cloche is primarily silver-gray with subtle darker gray areas and a few faint shadowed spots, and there is a decorative raised rim around the base and a small ornate element on one side.
