Coffee pot by Harris, CS & Sons London; goldsmiths' firm, fl. 1817–1933 and Charles Stuart Harris fl. 1852–1897 — purchased provenance, scrap - purchased. Pear-shaped, ribbed coffee vessel with godron ornaments; supported on four profiled, ball-shaped legs. Belly decorated with a band of narrow half-cylinders and grooves. High spout-like side handle and a wooden axial handle contemporarily added set in silver sockets. Upper edge edged with godron band; hinged lid domed in the center, topped with a bowling-pin finial. 1895/1896. Great Britain, London, England. Height 21.2 cm; width 18.5 cm; depth 10 cm; weight 640 g., A clear glass pitcher with a bulbous lower body tapering to a flared, scalloped rim is shown against a smooth gray background; the pitcher has a vertical black handle attached along its front, a band of horizontal ribbed texture around its upper body, and it rests on a group of small rounded feet, with visible surface blemishes and reflections on the glass in shades of clear, black, silver, and gray.
