Coffee pot by Harris, CS & Sons London, goldsmiths' firm, fl. 1817–1933 and Harris, Charles Stuart maker, fl. 1852–1897. Scrap-purchased. Pear-shaped, ribbed coffee vessel with godron ornaments; supported on four ball-shaped profiled legs; belly decorated with a band of narrow half-cylinders and grooves. High side spout-like handle and a contemporary wooden axial handle set in silver sockets. Upper edge edged with a godron band; hinged lid domed in the center, topped with a bowling-pin finial. Dated 1895/1896, London, England. Height 21.2 cm; width 18.5 cm; depth 10 cm; weight 640 g., A reflective metal teapot with a curving spout and a high-arched handle is shown against a light gray gradient background; the teapot has a polished silver surface with subtle scratches and scuffs, a domed lid topped with a small dark knob, decorative fluting around the midsection, rounded body panels, and small round feet, and the handle appears dark black while the overall scene includes shades of silver, gray, black, and white.
