Teapot by Stokes & Ireland Ltd Birmingham; goldsmiths; active 1872–1925. Pear-shaped teapot supported on three legs, smooth, with a flared upper edge topped with a pinnacle, with a spout-shaped spout; on the axis are silver bushings for mounting the missing wooden handle. Dated 1900–1901. Origin: Chester, England, Great Britain. Vessel; height 11.5 cm, width 15.5 cm, depth 10 cm, weight 330 g., A metallic teapot with a rounded, bulbous body sits on a reflective surface, supported by a group of curved legs; it has a long, elegantly curved spout on one side and a shorter angled spout-like fixture on the opposite side, and a scalloped rim with a domed lid topped by a small finial. The visible colors are shades of silver and gray, with subtle highlights and shadows creating lighter and darker silvery-gray tones across the surface.
