Depicts the crypts and archaeological excavations, including association with Barbara Radziwillówna Queen of Poland; 1520–1551. Height 12.0 cm; width 16.5 cm., The image shows a close-up of an irregular, rough textured surface with a group of decomposed, layered materials and debris spread across a ground plane; the scene is rendered in shades of black, white, and gray, with darker areas in the background and lighter, ashy patches and granular accumulations in the foreground; there are elongated, cylindrical forms partially embedded in the debris and a rounded object with a mottled surface visible among the lighter material; overall the composition features cracked, crumbly textures, scattered fragments, and contrasting tonal areas of dark gray, light gray, and near-white.
