Photograph of a painting: Ignacy Jasinski 1833–1878, Immaculate Conception, from the church in Nowe Miasto nad Pilica, 1876; Ignacy Jasinski 1833–1878, Polish painting; reproduction, religious painting, Immaculate Conception iconography; Nowe Miasto nad Pilica Masovian Voivodeship; print glued across the entire surface to the recto page of the 15th album page, ca. 1880; photograph of a work of art; photograph in an album; height 23.4 cm, width 15.6 cm., A tall, robed female figure stands centrally on a rounded dark surface with her hands crossed at her chest, wearing flowing garments with visible folds and drapery in shades of beige and gray; her hair is long and falls over her shoulders, appearing darker than her clothing. Surrounding her are a group of cherubic faces and small winged figures emerging from cloud-like formations in tones of gray and muted cream, some looking toward the central figure. In the lower foreground an infant-like figure with small wings looks upward from a cloud, and another winged child reaches toward the hem of the robe. A curved crescent shape appears near the hem by the feet, and a coiled serpentine form is partly visible beneath the robe. The background is filled with soft, cloudy textures in pale gray and cream, and the entire scene is framed by a narrow beige border.
