Gdansk ducat; Klüwer, Daniel fl. 1608–1618, mintmaster co-creator; Sigismund III Vasa King of Poland; 1587–1632, issuer; struck in Gdansk, Poland; coin., A round metallic object with a golden color fills most of the image against a white background; the object shows a raised decorative central shield flanked by two stylized lions and topped with a floral or plume-like motif, all in the same golden hue; a dotted circular border surrounds the central design and a band of raised characters follows the outer rim of the object; the surface shows slight scratches and areas of wear with small darker marks and subtle variations in the gold tone.
