Gdansk ducat. Maker: Filip Klüwer fl. 1588–1601, mintmaster; struck under Sigismund III Vasa King of Poland, r. 1587–1632. Place: Gdansk, Poland. Object: coin., A round gold coin photographed against a white background showing a raised portrait of a bearded man in profile wearing a decorative crown and a ruffled collar, with ornate engraved details and a beaded inner border; the coin surface is metallic gold with areas of darker patina and subtle shine, and the outer rim shows raised decorative motifs and embossed shapes.
