On the left a person wearing dark clothing and a light strap across a shoulder stands holding a long object and a brush or tool above a tripod easel; on the right another person sits on a bench or crate near the wooden wall, wearing lighter clothing and a cap and holding an object in their lap. The ground is bare earth and there are a few scattered tools, containers, and small piles of material on and around the tables and floor. The predominant colors visible are sepia tones of brown, beige, and tan, with variations in light and dark brown across clothing, wood, and ground.
