Date: 1893–1894., The image shows a sepia-toned photograph of a large round wooden platform with railings and a central pole supporting a canopy overhead; on the platform are a few wooden chairs and simple fencing, and a set of wooden stairs leads down from the edge. A person stands on the platform near the railing, facing outward and pointing, while beyond the platform a group of people and a cart are visible on a lighter background. The visible colors are shades of brown, tan, beige, and off-white.
