Dimensions: photographic print h. 11.9 cm × w. 16.9 cm; cardboard h. 13.5 cm × w. 18.5 cm., The image shows a sepia-toned outdoor scene with a group of people and various objects in a rural setting. In the foreground there is a wooden wagon wheel and broken wooden beams beside a standing man wearing light-colored clothing and an apron, and a seated man reclining on the ground wearing darker trousers and a light shirt. Behind them are low mounds of earth, scattered branches, and a woven fence. Further back a group of people is gathered near a tall wooden post and a rustic wooden fence, and another group of figures appears in a line holding long poles or spears. The landscape includes bare trees, a thatched-roof structure at the left edge, distant low hills, and open fields dotted with several small thatched huts. The visible colors are shades of brown, beige, tan, and muted gray.
