Mug. Maker: Hyzycka, Jadwiga 1856–1922, painter; Majolica Manufactory in Nieborów, manufacturer 1881–1899. Cylindrical mug, slightly tapering toward the top, with a handle. The mantle is decorated with an image of a nobleman sitting on a barrel holding a glass goblet in his right hand. A coat of arms next to the handle. Plant decoration. Inscription on the pedestal: Hulaj dusza. Date: 1881–1890. Place of origin: Nieborów Michal Piotr Radziwill's Majolica Manufactory. Tankard; height 28 cm, width 15 cm with handle; inlet diameter 6.5 cm; bottom diameter 9 cm., A tall cylindrical ceramic vessel decorated with a painted figure of a man wearing a blue hat and blue sleeves, a brown vest, and light-colored trousers, seated with one knee raised on a wooden barrel while holding a small glass; the painted scene includes brown, blue, beige, black, yellow, and hints of red tones; the rim of the vessel is dark with a band of yellowish stripes below it and a decorative band of yellow scrollwork near the base; the background is a smooth gray.
