Inscription - fragment, unknown, craftsman; inscriptions. Granite fragment with engraved hieroglyphic inscription, 760–653 BC; Third Intermediate Period; 25th Dynasty. Found at Old Dongola. Inscription. Height 8 cm, width 7 cm., A rough, irregularly shaped stone fragment floats against a light gray background, showing a coarse, pitted surface with an uneven edge. The stone displays a mix of brown and tan tones with darker brown and black speckling throughout, and small depressions and ridges create a textured appearance. The fragment has a slightly curved profile with visible granular texture and subtle variations in color intensity across its face, including some warmer brown patches and cooler grayish areas.
