Hand cross, Ethiopian workshop. Hand cross with the upper part inscribed in a rhombus mounted on a long shaft terminating at the bottom with a rectangular plaque; below it is decorated with a cross with rhomboid arms. The cross is covered with dense geometric ornament; in the central part is a small cross rosette. The side and upper arms are stylized as flower petals schematic lily. The lower arm is rhombus-shaped with cross rosettes. The shaft is decorated with incisions forming a broken line. The tablet has a cross rosette in the middle and incisions parallel to its longer edges. 20th century, Addis Ababa. Cross; height 36.5 cm, width 9.5 cm., A carved wooden object with a vertical elongated shape featuring decorative carved patterns and geometric motifs, shown against a light gray background; the wood displays shades of brown with darker brown carved lines and highlights, and there are a few symmetrical protruding elements near the top and bottom, with carved textures and triangular and diamond-like patterns along the central shaft.
