Amphora spatheion, unknown North African workshop Tunisia/Libya. Cylindrical, elongated amphora with a smooth yellow-green surface, probably covered with a coating produced during the firing process natural engobe, self-slip. Two-stage profiled spout with a rounded top and an outward-sloping lip. Small loop-shaped handles attached to the arms and to the neck just below the spout; conical bottom. Inner walls covered with a resin impregnation, also visible on the outer walls of the upper part of the amphora. Complete vessel, ceramic body not visible. 2nd half of the 6th–7th century, found at Edfu. Vessel amphora.
