Amphora spatheion, unknown North African workshop Tunisia/Libya. Cylindrical, elongated amphora with a smooth yellow-green surface, probably covered with a coating produced during the firing process natural engobe, self-slip. Two-stage profiled spout with a rounded top and an outward-sloping lip. Small loop-shaped handles attached to the shoulders and to the neck just below the spout; conical bottom. Inner walls covered with a resin impregnation, also visible on the outer walls of the upper part of the amphora. Complete vessel; ceramic body not visible. Date: 2nd half of the 6th–7th century.
