Necklace, salvage excavations, 4th Cataract Sudan, Necklace consisting of 28 cylindrical faience beads with a bluish and greenish glaze, 10 flat disc-shaped ostrich egg beads, 4 red glass beads of a spherical shape and 4 teardrop-shaped white quartz beads, 4th–6th century; Post-Meroitic period, Ashkot 1/T4, jewelry, A necklace made of a twisted light brown cord tied in a simple bow at the top, strung with a series of cylindrical and irregular beads in shades of green and turquoise with visible weathered patina, interspersed with a few small round beads in dark red and several disc-shaped beads in off-white, and a group of teardrop-shaped beads in pale beige near the lower center, all arranged against a uniform light gray background.
