Dice cup. Small cup with flat slightly concave bottom; slightly tapered walls; distinct rim and distinct foot. Outer surface decorated with seven wide ribs. Entire object covered with black varnish shiny but in places matte, except for a small fragment on the inner surface and the outer surface of the bottom, which has a concentric decoration. Traces of turning visible under the varnish. Spout slightly chipped; surface shows dirt and secondary losses; varnish worn on rib ridges. Clay color: 5 YR 6/6 reddish yellow. Varnish color: 2.5 YR 2.5/1 black. 5th century BC, Attica. Vessel cup. Height 8.3 cm; width 10.6 cm; depth 8.3 cm., A ribbed cylindrical vessel with a single rounded handle projecting from its side, shown against a neutral gray background; the vessel is predominantly black with small areas of worn lighter brown and off-white showing through its surface, and it has a slightly glossy finish with visible scuffs and chips.
