Black-finned alabastron, wide disc-shaped foot, circular body with sloping shoulders, narrow neck, wide horizontal rim and vertical bipartite handle; end of 4th–3rd century BC, Southern Italy; alabastron vessel; height 7.5 cm, width 6.7 cm., An old rounded vessel with a flared rim and a single looped handle is centered against a plain light gray background, the vessel showing a worn dark brown to black surface with patches where the underlying lighter clay is exposed, a lighter beige band around the base, and visible scratches and chips revealing tan and ochre tones.
