Ring, Ring with a band and a stone, cast from a single piece of metal. The band is narrow, convex on the outside and flat on the inside. The stone is arranged parallel to the line of the band. It is a long rectangle with rounded oval-shaped short edges. The flat surface of the stone is decorated with two hieroglyphic characters. 332–30 BC; Ptolemaic Period, Egypt. Jewelry; height 2.1 cm, diameter 2.3 cm., A single dark metal ring with an irregular, slightly squared profile sits centered against a light gray background; the ring's surface appears worn and textured with subtle highlights and shadows showing its rounded inner edge and thicker outer band, and the visible colors are shades of dark gray and light gray.
