Elongated face, painted brown, high black eyebrow arches, black pupils filling almost the entire eyes, modeled mouth without marked lips. c. 747–332 BC; Late Period?, Egypt, forgery, A roughly shield-shaped wooden board with a weathered, textured surface showing grain, scratches, splits, and areas of rough, splintered wood; a small metal screw with a looped piece of thin wire is attached near the top; an aged rectangular paper label is affixed to the upper left area; the wood displays various brown tones from light tan to deeper brown and some darker grayish-brown streaks, while the background is a smooth light gray.
