Necklace, unknown northern Mesopotamian workshop, Early Jazira III period ca. 2600–ca. 2350 BC, jewelry. Necklace composed of 35 beads of various shapes and sizes: one large spherical fluted bead flattened on one side 1, three large spherical beads slightly flattened at both ends 2–4, two large cylindrical beads 5–6, three medium circular beads 7–9, five small biconical beads 10–14, two small cylindrical beads 15–16, and nineteen small cylindrical beads 17–35. Round beads correspond to segments of a sphere. Bead size categories: small = 0.35 cm; small > 0.35 cm and < 0.5 cm; medium > 0.5 cm and = 1 cm; large = 1 cm. ca. 2600–ca. 2350 BC; found at Tell Rad Shakra northeastern Syria, Northern Mesopotamia Khabur Basin.
