Set of four spindle-shaped beads of different lengths: a, b — with rounded sides, oval in cross-section; c — with five notches, five-petaled rosette in cross-section; d — with four flat sides, rectangular in cross-section. ca. 2600–ca. 2350 BC; Northern Mesopotamia Khabur basin, Tell Rad Shakra, Al-Jazira Northeastern Syria. Decoration., A group of small elongated pebble-like objects with rough, pitted surfaces floating against a plain grey background; the objects show a range of earthy tones including brown, tan, beige, grey, and hints of darker speckles, with one larger, darker brown piece centered near the bottom and several smaller lighter tan and grey pieces positioned above and to the sides.
