Globular vessel, unknown Northern Mesopotamian workshop; globular vessels; clay vessel from Early Jazira III period ca. 2600–ca. 2350 BC / Early Dynastic III period ca. 2600–ca. 2350 BC; associated with vice-less vessels and children's graves; Al-Jazira Syria/Iraq, Mesopotamia; Northern Mesopotamia Khabur basin; Tell Rad Shakra northeastern Syria; Globular vessel with a distinct, slightly flared conical neck ending with an outwardly extended and everted rounded rim; ca. 2600–ca. 2350 BC; height 19 cm, width 18.2 cm., A round, bulbous ceramic vessel with a wide flared rim, shown against a solid gray background; the vessel surface is matte and pale beige to off-white with subtle variations in tone and a few areas of light brown discoloration, visible hairline cracks and repair lines forming irregular patchwork across the body, and a slightly rough, textured finish inside and out.
