Spherical clay vessel, vice-less, from an unknown Northern Mesopotamian workshop, Early Jazira III / Early Dynastic III period ca. 2600–ca. 2350 BC. Vice-less spherical vessel with rounded bottom; upper wall bends inward forming sloping arms that merge into an arched low neck terminating in a narrow, outwardly obliquely cut rim with a triangular cross-section. Origin: Northern Mesopotamia Al-Jazira, Khabur basin, Tell Rad Shakra, Northeastern Syria. Height 20.3 cm, width 21 cm., A rounded, weathered clay vessel with a narrow flared rim fills the frame against a solid gray background, showing a rough, pitted surface with a palette of beige, tan, cream, light brown, and hints of darker brown; the vessel displays irregular speckling, smudges, and subtle linear marks across its body and rim, with variations in texture from smoother upper areas to more grainy, mottled lower sections.
