Clay flask-shaped vessel with an elongated ovoid belly, rounded bottom, high slightly conically flaring neck separated from the belly by narrow shoulders and ending with a flat top, protruding externally thickened rim with a triangular cross-section. 2nd half of the 3rd millennium BC; Early Jazira IV Akkadian period, ca. 2350–2200 BC. Northern Mesopotamia Khabur basin, Tell Rad Shakra North-Eastern Syria. Height 14.8 cm, width 10.2 cm, weight 315 g., A rounded vessel with a narrow neck and flared rim sits upright on a clear circular stand; the surface of the vessel shows a textured, worn appearance with patches of lighter and darker beige and tan, along with subtle reddish-brown areas and small darker specks; the background is a flat medium gray.
