Flask-shaped vessel with an egg-shaped belly, a rounded bottom, a high cylindrical neck separated from the belly by narrow shoulders and ending with a flat, tilted rim. Ca. 2350–ca. 2200 BC. Syria, Tell Rad Shakra Khabur basin, Northern Mesopotamia. Vessel; height 14.5 cm, width 9 cm., A roughly spherical object with a textured, porous surface in beige and light tan tones resting against a solid gray background; there are a few small darker spots and irregularities on the surface and a faint area of slightly warmer tan on one side.
