Flask-shaped vessel with an egg-shaped belly, a rounded bottom, a high cylindrical neck separated from the belly by narrow shoulders and ending with a flat, tilted rim. ca. 2350–ca. 2200 BC. Syria, Northern Mesopotamia Khabur basin; Tell Rad Shakra Northeastern Syria. Vessel; height 14.5 cm, width 9 cm., A rounded, bulbous clay vessel with a narrow neck and flared rim sits against a solid dark gray background; the surface of the vessel shows a rough, grainy texture with a mix of beige, light tan, and pale brown tones and areas of slightly darker brown spotting and mottling.
