Flask, unknown northern Mesopotamian workshop, Early Jazira IV period ca. 2350–ca. 2200 BC / Akkadian period ca. 2350–ca. 2200 BC. Flask-shaped vessel with an egg-shaped belly, a rounded bottom, a high cylindrical neck separated from the belly by narrow shoulders and ending with a flat, tilted rim. Syria, Northern Mesopotamia Khabur basin, Tell Rad Shakra. Vessel; height 14.5 cm, width 9 cm., A weathered rounded vessel with a narrow neck and flared rim, shown against a plain dark gray background; the vessel surface is rough and granular with irregular pits and patches, displaying mainly beige and light tan tones with areas of light brown and subtle grayish speckling.
