Globular vessel, unknown Northern Mesopotamian workshop. Early Jazira III period / Early Dynastic III period ca. 2600–ca. 2350 BC. Globular vessel with a narrow neck the upper part of the neck and the spout are not preserved. Thickened circular base. Clay vessel for oils and ointments; vice-free. Origin: Al-Jazira, Northern Mesopotamia Khabur basin, Tell Rad Shakra north-eastern Syria. Height 11.3 cm; width 10.45 cm., A round, weathered clay object with a central circular opening viewed from above, showing a rough, pitted surface in beige and light tan tones with small darker specks and subtle reddish-beige patches, set against a smooth gray background.
